LogExpress Terms and Conditions

Privacy Policy

LogExpress Ltd understands the importance of protecting customers’ privacy. Therefore, information collected shall be used only to improve quality of service provided by LogExpress.

While we acknowledge the importance of Data Protection and commit to protect customers’ data, we shall limit their use within the agreement under which they will have been shared with us.

Once shared with LogExpress, data shall not be used for any marketing purposes or personal interests, nor shall it be exposed to any external parties or business partners across the world unless prior consent of the customer has been obtained.

Below are details of what data is  received and saved by LogExpress for the purpose of fulfilling its mission in courier services provision,  shipments  collection  and/or delivery.

Privacy Statement and Data Protection

LogExpress  shall spare no effort in  providing safe and secure services to its customers.
LogExpress  shall, therefore, provide information about how to protect its customers and how they may protect themselves.
Our policy shall, thus, consist in  putting up  relevant measures  for  protection of customers’ personal  and all transaction data from exposure to external entities, theft, or misuse. Data shared with LogExpress shall   always be saved in an internal operating environment allowing no access by public. Such data, shared on our website and shopping carts from the website,  is  encrypted by Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

Personal information held by LogExpress limited

At LogExpress we request personal information including names, phone number, address, Email when needed for shipping purpose (Pickup/Deliver). 
This information shall be collected to facilitate service provision and help customers access  valuable LogExpress online information and services such as tracking their shipments and consignments.

Use of information by LogExpress

LogExpress only collects, processes and utilizes personal data to an extent which such data is deemed necessary to establish, maintain and terminate a contractual relationship created in the aim of providing quality services (pick-up and/or delivery service) to its customers’ satisfaction.
We shall never sell or otherwise share or distribute the information collected to third parties unless required by law.

Terms of Carriage

Customer agrees that any carriage by LogExpress of any shipments shall be in accordance with  terms, conditions and limitations of liability set out on the Air Waybill (AWB), Label, Manifest, or Pick-Up Record (collectively "Shipping Documentation") and as appropriate any transportation agreement between Customer and LogExpress covering such shipment.

Delivery

Shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes, they will be delivered to recipient's address as provided by sender.

When a shipment is deemed unacceptable, or has been undervalued by customs, or recipient cannot be reasonably identified or traced, recipient refuses delivery or refuses to pay for delivery, LogExpress will make every effort to return the shipment to sender at his expense.

Unacceptable Shipments

Shipment shall be regarded as unacceptable when:

  • content is classified as a risky material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted items by IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization Agency) and ADR (Accord Route), and/or by any relevant government department or other relevant bodies.
  • it contains counterfeit goods, animals, gold bullion, currency, fiscal banners or stamps, bearer bills of exchange, precious metals and stones, firearms (whether real or fake), spare parts of firearms, weapons, explosives, ammunition, human remains, pornographic material or narcotics.
  •  LogExpress realizes it is impossible to transport the object safely or its transport is illegal  
  • packaging is defective or inadequate.

  •  LogExpress Liability

    LogExpress liability is strictly limited to direct loss and damage only and within the limits per kilo/delivered set out in this article 8. All other types of loss or damage are excluded (including but not limited to loss of revenue, interest or future business) whether such loss or injury is special or consequential, and even if LogExpress's attention has been drawn to the risk of such loss or such damage before or after acceptance of the shipment. If the transport of the object in question combines transport by air, LogExpress's liability per consignment transported, without prejudice to articles 9, will be limited to the actual cash value of the carriage fees.

    Claims are limited to one claim per shipment, and settlement of such claim shall constitute final settlement of any loss or damage in connection with such claim. If the sender considers that these limits are insufficient, it is his responsibility to take out the insurance indicated in article 10 (Shipping Insurance) or his own insurance, failing which the sender will assume all the risks of loss or of harm.

    Claim period

    All claims must be made in writing and submitted to LogExpress within thirty (30) days of the date of acceptance by LogExpress, failing which LogExpress shall not be held liable.

    Shipping Insurance

    LogExpress may put in place insurance for the benefit of the sender covering the actual monetary value of any loss or material damage affecting the Shipment provided that the sender completes the section devoted to insurance on the front of the waybill or requests such insurance through LogExpress's automated systems and pays the applicable premium. Shipment insurance does not cover consequential loss or damage or loss or damage caused by delays.

     Delivery 

    LogExpress will use reasonable efforts to deliver consignment in accordance with its delivery schedules agreed with customer. LogExpress shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by delay in delivery of any consignment for reasons beyond its control. In the event of late delivery, a credit note or reimbursement of all or part of the transport costs of the Shipment will be given to the customer.

    Force Majeure

    LogExpress shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond its control or force majeure. Such circumstances include  but are not limited to electrical or magnetic damage to, or erasure of, electronic or photographic images, data or records; any defect or characteristic related to the nature of the shipment, even known to LogExpress; any acts or omissions on the part of a person not employed or under contract with LogExpress, for example the shipper, the recipient for a third party, a customs employee or other public official; earthquake, cyclone, storm, flood, fog, war, plane crash, or embargo, riot or disturbance affecting  civil peace, social conflict etc.

    Inspection

    LogExpress reserves itself the right to open and inspect any shipment without any prior notice to customer.

    Data Retention and Destruction

    LogExpress shall save personal information shared by customer for long and such information can be amended or destroyed if requested by customer. Such request shall be made by filling and submitting the appropriate  form at www.logexpressltd.com .
